AABA History

Originally called the Asian Business Club and consisting of a group of Asian American entrepreneurs and business people sharing common
causes and concerns, the organization changed its name in 2003 to the Asian American Business Alliance (AABA) and adopted a formal
structure as an Oregon non-profit corporation. The organization elected a board of directors and announced a clearly articulated mission
statement, which you can find on this website.
Since 2003, the organization has grown rapidly, and each of its bi-monthly events draw not only return participants, but
a large number of new attendees interested in becoming active in the organization and benefiting from the opportunities that
such participation brings.
